Color Harmony 1.1

Color Harmony 1.1 is out!

Here's just one way you can use it to coordinate an outfit:

- Snap a picture of your favorite shirt

- Tap on the dominant color of the shirt

- Now, slide the sliders until you like the colors you see.

If you want to match a pair of pants, for example, use a similar color - so you want similar colors for the larger pieces of clothing (shirt & pants in this example).

Want to match a tie, just pick a contrasting color. Accents (smaller areas) are usually contrasting colors.

That's all there is to it! Have fun!

Color Harmony continues to be a great seller, so far we're in 23 countries around the world!

I'm working on version 1.1, it will be a free upgrade.

My goal is to submit it to the iTunes store by the end of May.

We made our first donation today, to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, it was half of what we've made so far on our iPhone apps.

Color Harmony

Ok, now I've actually got a real productive app up on the itunes store.

It's called Color Harmony.

What you do is take a picture, tap on a color, and it'll show you which colors look good with it.

I used it to paint our bathroom - my wife got new curtains, we snapped a picture, and a few taps later we found out that light green would go great with those new curtains. We went to the paint store, got a gallon, and a few days later it looks fabulous!

Next I hope to use it for clothes shopping, I'll be 'da man' looking great and color-coordinated!

2nd App

I just uploaded my new app to the iTunes Application Store.

As with the previous one, I'll be donating half of my proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. As I mentioned before, I'm not affiliated with them, I just think it's a nice thing to do.

This one is a lot of fun, it's practical too. I'll post here when it's available.
